So I've been looking into the Ruckus and thinking about getting one. My only concern is that how do you not get it stolen? I want to use it to ride around town when I can use it instead of my car, but I'm paranoid someone will just drive a pick up next to it, throw it in the bed and take off. Whats a good security system(if any exist) for this thing?

i bought my ruckus brand new last year and had it chained to a pylon at my apartment. before my first payment someone cut the chain and stole it. the cops found it 2 days later and i had to remove all the spray paint, replace gas cap, ignition and battery box. full insurance is great idea and keep it inside or a garage. i wouldn't leave it in sketchy spots either. i love my ruckus and its a great ride if you have somewhere to store it.

How much is full insurance for one of these? I mean its only like 2500 new right?

yeah base price is around $2500. After financing mine came to around $2800. I called Geico to give it full insurance which I wouldn't think was much and they quoted me somewhere around $100. I can't remember exact number but I know it was more than 80 but less than $100. I thought that was crazy b/c my friend has a brand new motorcycle with full insurance for that amount. I don't know why i would be s much so I didn't get it and just park it inside at night.

i have gieco and its 28$ a month full coverage with 100$ decuctable that's also including 3000$ in aftermarket part insurance.

I did a full alarm with shock sensor and tilt sensor on mine. I also put a mini piezo siren on it, if anyone messes with it they will draw a lot of attention.
