ok guys i need help. so i have a 09 ruckus with kn variator 5.5 & 6 weights,posh cdi,leo vance exhaust,poloni belt,white contra spring and Keihin pc20. i am running 38sj, 85mj needle at halfway and mixture screw 2 1/2 out from lock, now my problem is that i cannot run my ruck at all when the choke is all the way open..wtf. as soon as i open it up all the way it just shuts off, like its a switch. i have a wide band, i've tried going as high as a 95mj still shuts off when i open the choke all the way. however when the choke is closed it runs fine. but whats the point of a pc20 if the choke is closed! i need help guys, am i sopose to run it with the choke closed? any help would be great!! thanks!

Im running a similar set up. Im running a Keihin PE20, with a Leo Vince. I run a 100mj and a 50sj and have the needle clip on one notch down from middle position. I use the choke (open) to start the bike, then close it when its started.

Have you tried adjusting your float position? I had a similar problem that you are having and it was the position of my ploat level.

Float level should be slightly lower then "level" with the carb body.
