Help! cannot find an ecm for my ruckus anywhere!
 

My 2005 ruckus was stolen from me in dwntwn indianapolis 2 years ago.. a couple months ago it resurfaced when some dumbass tried to get it worked on at a honda shop..needless to say the scooter was in rough shape after being made to start without the key and a few other choice parts removed. i just paid 1200 $ (as quoted by noblesville, in HONDA shop) once the work was "finished" i recieved a call telling me more problems were found and it would be another 300$. Then, knowing im already 1500 deep in repairs the shop called again and informed me that they now needed to replace the ecm and quoted me another approx. $600! i asked them to please stall to see if i couldnt personally locate a new aftermarket or rebuilt control module on the internet so as to save myself from fully paying for my scooter for the second time. i have been a savvy web user since there has been a web, yet for the life of me i could not locate an ecm for my bike anywhere?!? advice? a point in the right direction? any help would be most appreciated!
as far as the module's description the honda tech gave me over the phone to aid me in my search, its quite vague. all he told me was that on the part itsself read: ge 2-661. someone please help! thanks

Have you tried total ruckus or the battlescoter forum? If you can't find it on total ruckus, you aren't trying. So many people do engine swaps that you should be able to get one for $100 or less.

try emailing rucksters or standard functions

they always rip off stock engines for their swaps
