Hate to ask but: Top speed?
 

I know it's an extremely noob question and dependent on weight and such but what's the top speed for a stock 09 Ruckus with a 200 pound rider?

The dealer I went to today claimed 25mph but my 25 year old Spree did better than that. What research I've done leads me to believe 35-37mph on a flat surface. Am I off base?

I was ready to buy one today but her (likely incorrect) speed guesstimate has me second guessing.

If it did really top out at 25 i wouldnt be able to keep up in city traffic! Ill get pulled over for goig to slow

I hit about 40ish on flats, 45 on a downhill. Then I am really just restricted by the stock rev limiter, so that's going to be getting replaced...

yeah i agree 37-42 is the top speed. 37 if it's an 06 and older and 42 if it's an 07 and newer.

i'm 2 stroke swapped and can hit 53 mph. with up gears probably going to see close to 60. on a conservative build.

Guess I'll figure out for myself tonight as I pick up my red 09 in a few hours.

on a stock motor? what mods do you have done? good speed if it is!

I have a 2011 and I weigh 220. I have a yoshimura exhaust and I hit 40 and my rev limiter kicks in.

I have a stock 2009 that goes 40-42 on flats and 45+ downhill. Uphill about 35. I can't wait to go darkside.
