will a stock 5th gen prelude radio plug in to a 95 accord
i just want to make sure before i pull the dash apart ( the accord isnt as easy as a prelude to take apart so id like to do this once ) and find out it wont plug in, and i dont have a readily accessible pig tail for the radio and id like to get this done today
ive searched but the accord owners arent as through on their archived topics as the preludes are lol
thanks in advance

Re: will a stock 5th gen prelude radio plug in to a 95 accord (2000h22a)
just for reference...
it DOES NOT fit...
and by the way, accords suck... the dash was a s.o.b. to take apart
good learning experience tho lol

I am 99.9% sure that a 5th gen radio from a 97 or 98 will work, but a 99+ won't because in 99 they went to a different plug (Accord, Civic and Prelude) and used that plug until 2004.

Re: (TheJGB3)
yeah the plugs were totally different
but i just grabbed one off an old junkyard prelude and hardwired it in
it was for my friends car, he wanted a stock look with a cd and i had it laying around so i figured id throw it in, but it turned out to be more than i originally thought lol
