What should come first when fixing up my car?
Hey guys, I have a 1992 prelude s. It has a mechanically sound f22a1 in it currently and the only thing on it is a cold air intake. I'm looking to eventually drop an h22a in it here in the next few months whenever my boss decides to give me some decent hours; until then though, I'm wondering what are some minor things that I can get to occupy my time and give me something to work on. What do you guys recommend I get first? I know it's kind of a vague question.. But the whole point is that I'm taking any suggestions for any part of the car.. Not really anything specific! Thanks for any replies!

Suspension. No matter what motor you throw in there suspension will not change.. So start with that.
Take baby steps though, especially if you're not going to be tracking it.

Check suspension bushings! They get worn on our 20 yr old cars and should be considered a necessity above springs/shocks. They are fairly inexpensive and if you have the know how and access to a shop press are not too difficult to do.

Alright I'll look into those things.. And there is a little bit of rust not much.. Just a tad on the moonroof but I already have one on it's way so that's taken care of. [:

what they said because safety first.
after safety, do a TUNE UP! I just finished making a list to go through since im not happy with the fuel mileage im getting so here it is if you want:
-tire pressure
-air filter
-clean EGR valve
-clean fuel injectors
-clean or change PCV valve
-change fuel filter
-change spark plugs/wires
-change distributor cap & rotor
-change O2 sensor (not necessary unless throwing a CEL, or if all else fails to increase mpg's)
-check for any leaks
