The car comes with the f22 block in it so I would have to sleeve and swap

"G" builds are prone to problems.

I'm going to ask, why do you need the twin cam head? Unless you're trying to go for high horsepower I think the standard non vtec head would be fine.

@ Aradin what problems are those?

This subject has been beaten to death over the years. The oil and water passages do not line up correctly, it's not even close to being designed to work together. It's guaranteed to fail unless you dump a bunch of time and special machining/tooling into the equation which then makes it VASTLY inferior to just a straight H22 swap or even a K swap.

Absolutely do not attempt this.

^ Beat me to it. It's really not worth the trouble. It's nothing like doing an LS/VTEC or similar like so many people want to compare it to. It adds a lot of points for things to break, leak, etc etc. They don't even make power comparable to a bone stock H. A straight H/F20B swap is just better because it works. If iron sleeves are a requirement and you want a DOHC platform, F20Bs are ~$500 from any importer - sometimes cheaper depending on the time of year.

To use the search function and/or google. Very common swap that's been done for decades now. There's info everywhere.

Boost the single cam first, plenty of fun around town and weekends. Then when you blow it up, swap the motor.
