i am going to install my 74mm tb today and of course theres no fitv on it, and wanted to know if i am routing the hoses right,

i will have the hose coming out of the block going into the iacv and a hose out the iacv into the thermostat housing, is this right and has anybody had any idle problems with no fitv.

You've got the hoses correct, you'll be fine with no FITV, you just won't get the higher idle and it will take a little longer to warm up when its cold.

Yep, I don't have it for over a year. In winter time I have to raise the idle through Crome (Hondata etc) not to die when cold as I don't even have the idle adjusting screw.

do you have coolant lines available to run through the TB itself ? On my AEBS 68mm , although there is no fitv it has a place to run coolant lines through the TB.

no i dont have the line to run the fitv, or an idle adjusting screw, but if its just gonna idle low, i can tighten the throttle cable a little, to raise the rpm's i just dont want bouncy idle from not having the fitv.

no its not the fitv its the TB itself. But i guess you dont have them.

I think it would be better to adjust the throttle plate stop, and leave a little slack in the cable. Removing the FITV is usually not a problem in most climates.

okay i have the tb and manfold installed runs fine no stumbles or bouncy idle, it just sometomes dies after the revs fall down, just wanted to know if you guys know how to fix it, i'll be getting it retuned in about a month.
