Still cant figure out this vibration/wierd noise on h22
Ok this is like the 3rd post ive done on this. Its is really getting aggrivating. I have a vibration from 7k to 7.5k. I know that high rpms but im sure its not supposed to vibrate and sound ugly that high. I was thinking it would be smooth just like it is at the lower rpms. Its a vibration with weird buzzing noise to it. I feel the vibration on the gas pedal. I was examining under my car and noticed the downpipe was really close if not touching the oil pan. Please give me any input as what this could be thanks.Oh and let me add its a h22 in a accord so the downpipe was lengthend w/o cat to my exahust.I hope its nothing internal like rod bearing or something.

Few questions:
Do you have an after market crank pulley?
Do you have your balance shafts removed or bypassed?
What condition are your Motor Mounts in?
Do you only feel it in the pedal? Or does the car shake as well?

check your oil level ? maybe its your motor saying "please dont rev me this high it hurts " The downpipe clearance usally is a pretty close call. It shouldent be touching, and i dont think the exhaust gas creates that much turbulence that it would be shaking off your oil pan.

No i dont have a aftermarket crank pulley.
Balancer shafts should be there i have a h22 swap havnt opened up timing covers yet to do timing or blanlancer shaft belt replacment.
Motor mounts all polyurethane filled ,and rear is solid urethane.
I geuss its the pedal ,but it might vibrate the car.
But it has this wierd pitch to the sound it makes at these rpms.
Also oil just changed.Stock lsd just went in and it did it with old tranny too.
Only thing i cant think is oem is the bearing that comes with the cm clutch i put in when they put that in while doing swap.Could that maybe cause it.
