I remember seeing a post a while back about a So Cal PRelude club and there was going to be an initial meeting.

did that ever materialize? club exists? a website, contact, meetings upcoming, or is it dead??

ok. I live in the desert area near Palm Springs, but I spend a LOT of time in San Diego with family and I"ve seen a lot of ludes there.

What about San Diego. On a weekend, like a Saturday or Sunday. We could organize a nice stretch of road to go on a cruise. Like up to Mt. Palomar, or on Highland Valley Road, or Lilac Rd. Get enough Ludes in a row and go for a hardcore run through some twisty roads would be a blast. Find a nice restaurant on the way back and stop for food and drinks. a nice opportunity to shoot the breeze with other PRelude owners and have a nice drive with fellow Honda/Prelude enthusiasts....

if I get 5-10 interested People, I'll coordinate a date/time/place. San Diego area.

San Diego Prelude owners who would spend 1/2 day, like 8 am - 2pm or so, speak up. It would be fun.

I agree. I'd like to see other people's setups, and share the horror stories of tuning and wasting money at expensive dyno shops. Anyway, I have every other weekend off, so I'll be there (schedule permitting). Actually, I like working on them more than driving, so I am up for anything.

Lets get together and have dyno day, prelude tuning hints and fixes....

My last car was a Miata and I have to admit, although they are probably a bit older than Prelude owners on average, that also means they have a bit more time and $$ on hand. and these guys were car freaks and drove like stink. I am 28 now, and had teh miata in my early 20s and thought I would outdrive a bunch of old farts but they kicked my ***.....

they did have a cool club and cool events.

something like that would be cool. either a dyno day, or a tech day where people meet and install stuff on their cars, or just a lunch where we all hang out in a aparking lot before going inside to drink a lot of beer and talk about cars. fun.

Yea...so far with the SoCal club there has been NO official word. I was suppose to design the website but buckwild nor rokdavey has yet to email me any info on it. Not to mention finals are around the corner for me and buck, so i'm not completely surprised little progress has occurred. I'm sure right when summer hits things can develop much much faster. Preludeonline.com (formerly part of H-A.net) has been having a couple unofficial meets like at HIN and other places these past couple of months. Regardless, i'm sure something will come up soon.

What's a HIN? Hot import nights? Is there a road course around socal.....Laguna Seca? Is there like an amatuer day?

SoCal meet...Sunday (6/3)
For those of you who don't visit preludeonline.com...some of us are going to meet up this sunday at a indie filming on street racing and such. It's just to hang out and chill, and to check out stuff. Meet time isn't established yet, but it should be about 7p-8pm at frys in burbank. Post there if you would like to go so we can expect you. Oh, and yea...HIN was hot import nights. Laguna Seca's kinda far. I would say the closest one is probably buttonwillow. I was planning on going soon (sometime end of this month)...
