Remove Aftermarket Tachometer Help
I have a '99 base and the person I bought it from installed an aftermarket tachometer which I'm not liking at all. Also, he installed reverse glow gauges that I would like to remove as well. So my goal is to remove the aftermarket tach and the reverse glow gauge cover.
I've searched and searched but I can't find anything regarding un-installing the aftermarket tach. What steps do I take? What tools do I need?
Thanks in advance!

How about some pics of it. Where is it mounted? where the stock one was? on the column? on the dash? does it have a shift light?, etc.

Re: Remove Aftermarket Tachometer Help
It's most likely screwed into the a pillar cover. Unscrew it, then remove the a pillar cover. There's a few clips holding it on, pry very gently as these are easy to break, best to do if its warm. Trace the wires from the aftermarket tach to where they are connected and cut them off. Remember to wrap up any exposed wiring when you're done.
