I just finished doing a head swap 2 days ago and after we got the car running the radio (oem) doesnt work. The little red light, that usually blinks when the car is off, keeps blinking when the car is running instead of the solid green light. Radio worked perfectly before. any ideas?

You need to enter your radio code to reset the radio, whenever you disconnect the battery you have to do this. If you know the radio code re-enter it, if you don't have it contact the dealers they may have it on database.

no, the radio doesnt even turn on to show the code screen. All the buttons are backlit, but nothing happens when I press them.

#1) A head swap has ZERO to do with the radio haha .. #2) check your fuses.

turned out there was no ACC fuse, since my socket didnt work either. Had no clue it would affect the radio and also have no clue how it went missing. I hadn't touched anything near the fuses since I tried to re hook up my foglights.
