Default Power to wires, but no hazards?

Hey guys, so my brother and I are having issues with his 92 'lude. We are trying to fix everything so it will pass state inspection, but we are running into an electrical issue. The biggest for the inspection is the hazards. They won't go, the blinkers do, but not the hazards. We checked for power, and the switch, or at least the wire, is getting power, but no result. We replaced it with another one, once again no luck. The other issue is the control cluster doesn't seem to be getting power, once again even though the wires are. Same issue with the dome light. Wire power - light zip. Anyone have this issue before? We checked all the fuses and none are blown, in either panel. Thanks guys!

Where did you check for power? At the load source (bulb). I've had issue were corrosion has affected specific bulbs, but not so much a global issue.
Pull the bulb and check the power side of the load and ground at the bulb connection. See that its 12v DC.
If nothing Ground somewhere else and still check the power side. See if you get 12v@.
If you have 12v then just bypass the socket with a couple of wires and touch a bare bulb. If that works. Sounds like a crummy socket. If not.... well it would be darned odd unless you just have a bad bulb.

If your getting power but the item isn't working, even after you replaced it, then it's probably a ground issue. Check these grounds:

We actually found the issue. The sodder points on the back of the climate control had broke, so we redid the soddering. With the hazards, it ended up just being the switch. The one that came with the car, something spilled in it so it fried, the second one we picked up, it was missing one of the pins (junk yard part), and the third one was new and it worked! So.....thank you for all of your input guys!!!!
