Icon2 Heater

I have a 92 S and no heat..the blower does blow but my heat is not working. If you guys / Gals can list a few things to check first in order for me to get going instead of wasting time on something it might not be would def be very helpful. Thank you all in advance.

If the blower is blowing then that means you have no coolant flow through the heater core (in the dash). Check the coolant valve on the firewall and see if it opens and closes when you move the temp slider on the climate control unit.

ok...i installed a coolant valve on from a 94 Si automatic, assuming that the valve shouldnt matter when it comes to the the type of transmission that is, then the hoses, hoping that they are in the right direction, and still no heat. The blower is blowing, i checked all fuses...and now im stuck..still trying to determine why its not cooling.
