oil light!!

oil light!!
i recently did a jdm h22 swap in my 93 prelude! the oil light flashes sometimes! i know oil is gettin to the head and it runs fine but it keeps flashing! are the oil sending units known to go bad? or does anybody have a clue?!! thanks!

i check the grounds and everything seems to be ok! i think maybe the oil sending unit may be bad...i heard they go bad sometimes or just a bad connection somewhere!! dont know got one ordered tho! thanks for the advice!! if anybody else has some advice let me know!! thanks!!

well i changed the oil and the light doesnt flash anymore! but when i first start it in the mornings the oil light stays on for a min or two and then goes off! please tell me what thats about? thanks!

That is odd cause usually in the morning your light should be off more than on cause you oil is col and less viscous. Are you loosing oil from anywhere? could be the sensor.

yeah thats what i said. lol...i did notice oil leaking but it was the dizzy O ring! i fixed it yesterday and this morning is when the light stayed on for a min!i have a oil pressure sending unit ordered as well so im gonna try that too when it comes in! idk! thanks!!

X2. You don't want to mess up your crank or any bearings. I'm not sure if you were talking about the same plug I'm thinking of but the oil pressure sensor near the oil filter, they sometimes need to be replaced. I know it happened to a guy here recently and when he put a new one on it fixed the problem.

yeah thats the same sensor! right under ther oil filter! i got one ordered so im gonna put it in asap when it gets here!! thanks!!
