well you know the injector theory definitely could be the reason you have had problems. Because if u look at it depending on your AFR's that plays a role in wearing out your rings faster.....so maybe but i dont know what your AFR was or is.(do you know?)

some way or another your running lein(maybe the injector theory)... then your more than likely detonating as well... i dont think you have just one problem here... i think you have a few little problems that could be solved with some of the correct steps and a little money...those few little problems are causing one pretty big failure...(the ringlands, and rings.) ill say again, H series pistons BLOW for boost! I have vids of mine to stock steup to prove (3 of 4 cracked in several places) haha

Im done with my 18G...Changing my setup already. I am thinking about going with a Rev hard cast manifold. Doesn't md23vtec run that? Just dont have an Idea of what turbo I want to run. There is a lot of options out there. I need something that will work with my stock block fine and my built. End goal of around 350-400whp. Bounce some ideas around please.

Its actually more like the oil seal on the turbo is bad. I decided to not even rebuild it. That t3/t04e 60 trim looks good to me. I wonder what kinda numbers these would put down when pushed. Thx for the idea

how much power are you making? People usually hit the 13's with about 230whp + range.

Project BB6 where did you get your guage pod from?

Can anybody please tell me the difference between high pressure and std pressure besides the obvious? Which would I use if I want 9.0:1 compression?

Thanks for the help guys.

im not really sure what your asking... ive only ever heard high compression and low compression... and 9.0:1 is low compression and thats definatly wat you want for a turbo car....

maybe that helped...

I have a few more questions if you dont mind answering. Is the wideband guage similiar to the A/F guage? After you installed your SK2 IM did it throw a CEL? What ecu are you using?

a wideband is live air/fuel mixture reading, and it is an A/F gauge...as for the valves im pretty sure you would want to use the higher pressure ones, but i would contact skunk about that..im pretty sure they are the only people who do a high vs. std valve set. As for the Skunk IM yea EGR but it search Skunk2 IM, other guys dont have problems with the light, i just dont care for now... haha

Thanks for the info. I meant to ask what did you use for tuning. I am looking to run a similiar setup but i just dont know what i want to use for tuning. What kind of head work did you have done? Those are some really impress numbers you got. I hope to get close lol!

im prolly going with crome or hondata... also ive got AEM wideband and soon AEM TRU boost.... but those numbers are only to 5500 rpm i had to cut off on the dyno due to lack of fuel... so the car was not tuned too much and now im going back and getting the management and fuel right.... but at 5500 she was still climbing, but i wasn't about to risk '$THAT$' bottom end!

well, im hoping to have some cash here in the next week or so.
i really want to turbo my 93 lude (h22a motor/h23a1 trans.)
i've heard since i have the h23a1 trans. also that its a good setup for boost also.
(longer climbs,vtec,more over all power)
since this is my DD im not looking for huge numbers but something like 280-300whp.

first off. i want to try and keep my full radiator, a/c, and ps
i just can't find any manifolds that allow all 3 things.

i'm just having trouble where to start.

how much power can a h22a block (stock) usually hold?

..any help?
