Anybody ever ran the Spoon upper? Curious to see #'s and hear thoughts if anybody's ever run it... I know if won't compare to the likes of a fully custom header like Hytech, SMSP, DTR, etc, but wondering if it's a viable alternative for a mid-range header.

No posts in here for awhile. I would like to know if anyone has/had using the Kiddracing/Private Label/subliminal header the 2000 Prelude base? I would like to know about fitment, does it hang low? And does it make power? I am looking for a good aftermarket header for a supercharged 5th lude base for under $500.00, that will work on a lowered car and with a cat.

There are a few people floating around using the ebay header...it does seem to hang pretty low.

can somebody identify this header? pictures or links were dead. I know i've seen it before I just can't remember where

thanks

Edit: I want to say it was made by Kteller, the mild rage header or something. trying to confirm. i believe that design was a replica of an AN-R header? Can't find pics of either.

I have one, pretty good for the price, I've yet to dyno my car though. It'll take modification to make it fit an aftermarket exhaust, you also will need someone to add you in a flex pipe. Easiest thing to do when buying a header like this that doesn't have a flex pipe or bolt to a cat (most larger ones don't) is to just have a custom exhaust made for it.

It's really a shame that all the new "budget" race header are for h2b.
I don't think that a RMF drag header replica, a Hytech replica or a Logic motorsport will fit a 5th gen Prelude. Am I right?

Dave is a member (possibly vender even?) on here. [email protected]

there is a good chance you will end up in his spam folder, give him a few weeks to respond.

I purchased one from him last June. As well as a catalytic converter and pipe kit.

Does anyone knows or have Dave from SMSP user name so I can send him a PM to order H22 headers?

Iīm kind of desperate to get this headers. Have sent him an email and no answer yet

If I canīt get this headers, which ones should be the second choice? I was thinking on the weapon Rīs but there are obsolete.

If you're wanting something along the lines of SMSP in terms of quality and performance, off the top of my head I would recommend (in no particular order):

-Hytech
-Myers Competition
-Burns Stainless
-ASP
-SSR

I'm sure there are others as well. If you want something fast, I think Hytech might stock some of their "shelf" manifolds and it looks like SSR does as well. If you want something custom, it will take a little while from anybody.

I have a question about the stocke headers on a 2000 prelude vti-r. I was wanting to purchase the vehicle in question but the seller mentioned that one small problem was the headers touched the crossmember ocasionally. Is this a big issue or can it be fixed.
