I've never heard of any Honda engine that doesn't have a letter following the engine family and displacement notation.

Is it possible, or does it look like the letter was ever shaved off? If you can take a picture we'd be interested to see.

I was thinking the exact same thing Chance EG ... I have NEVER seen a Honda Engine stamp where there was NO letter after the engine type and displacement code. I would love to see a photo of this as well.

If you can provide any other stampings on the block and/or matching head, we may be able to help. If it came with a P13 head it's likely just a standard JDM H22A.

That is only in the USA for sure... some other Countries use the last digit as well, but this is a complicated discussion, so let's just leave it at what you have is a JDM engine. Done.

I just looked at some pictures of a p13 head, and mine looked like a p13 head. So is it something special? Where are there other stampings to see what head/block it is?

P13 is just the standard H22 head. So no, yours is nothing special.
