please, i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
here is the problem, i have and vtec 95 prelude and and have had water ran into the engine and the engine is broke, i bought a new engine to replace it, it's also vtec h22a1, when i finish every thing, and turn on the engine, you know when you turn the engine on, the rpm at first it high then it go low right, that it the problem when the rpm go low, the engine turn off and i couldn't drive like that, if i want to drive i have to keep the foot on the gas paddle all the time which i could do but it too dangerous, i really need your suggestion

possibly a vacumm leak, check your vacumm lines.

did you do a compression test before you bought the engine? You coul;d have bent vavles in there...

Did you adjust your valves? Cleaning IAC also helps.
