Need Harmonic Balancer bearing on 1993 F22B
I have a JDM 1993 F22B engine that is squealing on me. My brother-in-law is a genius mechanic, and he believes the problem is the harmonic balancer bearing on the intake side of the engine (closest to the firewall). Does anyone know if the bearing can be replaced, or am I looking at a new harmonic balancer? If the bearing can be replaced do you have the part number? Thanks and Merry Christmas (Yes, I hope anyone from ISIS that sees my Merry Christmas is offended...tough tacos!)

Not sure what bearing he thinks is there, the crank pulley (balancer) has no bearing.
If your timing belt is too tight it may squeal, so try adjusting that first.
If the accessories belts for ps or ac/alt are squealing, adjust them.
If the balancer pulley is damaged, aka the rubber center is coming apart, replace it.

We have eliminated all of the bearings outside of the timing cover (a/c), alt, ps, etc) via the stethoscope method. The squeal is definitely inside the timing cover. The water pump is relatively new (almost three years old), and it does not sound the same as the water did when it was failing. The bummer is we had the engine out a few months ago to do the front main seal, rear main seal, and both camshaft seals, and of course there was no squeal coming from inside the timing cover just oil from the front main seal...oh well. I am going to look at the new ones at an auto parts store and see what the possibilities are.
