Proof in the pudding right there guys.......
An H series that makes PEAK 50-60whp more than stock getting great fuel economy.
How does your Sub 4000rpm power compare to a stock H22A? +20-30%

Finally got my wideband to read. I removed a crap load of fuel everywhere, just to get me in the ball park for further tuning. I went 50 miles before my gas gauge budged, just like the good ol' days.

I still need to actually start tuning it. It's still rich almost everywhere on the low cam map and god knows what on the high cam map.

dont let the first 50 miles fool you. I've gone 100 miles on the interstate with it barely moving. Needless to say it moved pretty quick for the next 50 miles

My gauge has always done that. I've driven with it so long, that I know if I have 50 or more miles before it budges, that i'm getting decent milage. I actually went 100 miles once before it moved; that's when I got 31.5 MPG.

It must be a 4th gen thing. I'd get no less than 25.5mpg back in the day when I was running just a intake and exhaust. That was with a lot of thrashing to.

No, its not just a 4th gen thing. I've hit 90 miles before the first tick. I did it a few weeks ago, that's when I got 34 mpg.

I think he's referring to the first "tick" as the last digital mark on the 4G fuel gauge. Mine does the same, it takes about 75-80 miles before the last one disapeers and then after that they start to disapeer a lot quicker. I remember my first tank of gas, I traveled 75 miles then saw the gauge loose a mark... I thought I was going to get the best gas mileage in the world. HAHA

Still need to get it tuned, specially if it will save me some money with better MPG.

Yah, our gas gauges are stupid. Usually about 75-80mi before I lose the 1st one. I also get better fuel economy for the 1st 1/2 tank. Very weird....

x2 Very weird

I'd do some street tuning but I'm waiting on my Mugen kit to show up here soon.

I got somewhere in the ballpark of 26 mpg the past couple weeks. Just checked it when i filled up.

As for the half a tank thing, I often fill up when i get around half a tank and it only takes about 6 gallons to fill. I thought our tanks (4th gen) were supposed to have a capacity somewhere around 16 gallons?

I get about 25 mpg highway, which is 90% of my driving. I have a 90 prelude Si, non vtec automatic. I paid next to nothing for it with @ 135000 miles on it 4 years ago. I love the car....

I'm a 3rd gen fan. They are the reason why I love preludes today.

Crap, I'm getting about 14 MPG city , but my IACV is stuck and I think the po set the throttle higher so it idles at 2200RPM so it doesn't keep fluctuating at idle. Going to fix. As soon as I get $250 for a new IACV.

How can you guys let your tanks get so low? I get nervous when I get down to a quarter. I usually fill up at half a tank, I don't know why but I do. My gas light has only come on once sence I've owned the lude.

what about the saying - "if you let your tank get all the way down, your sucking all the crud from the bottom of the gas tank"

I lol everytime I hear that. Their's a filter on the fuel pump and a fuel filter. At the very most you'd have to replace the fuel filter.

Both of you, huh? I wonder why when i fill up when my gauge is around half it only takes about 6 gallons. Maybe my gauge is off?
