motor debate
 
ok i know this is the all time asked ?, i have a 92 si and 93 si blown motor both have the h23 i want to make a killer motor hp wise, but dont know what motor to build i would like to hit 400hp + with turbo someone tell me the best motor to get me there cause i already have a h23 laying here

in my opinion i would say use the h22a vtec get a head gasket AEM ems. and a t4 turbo with some injectors and a fuel pump tuned you should be puttin out more then that what your lookin for. if that helps at all.

Keep the h23 and boost the shit out of it. Precisionh23a has/had a killer h23 boosted. You can do some crazy things with that motor - vtec isn't everything. Just remember, when boosting, you can keep whatever motor you want - as long as you build it right, the sky is the limit.

just giving the guy some options. iv herd good things about the h23 turbo but iv never delt with it personally.

Since you have two blown Si's send one block off to be sleeved and use the other as a temporary piece.

What he said. Good sleeves and strong pistons (and connecting rods, reinforced crank, etc) and you can boost that thing to 400whp
