This is where I'm at, the caliper is removed from the lower control arm, but I can't seem to get the ball joint out. How do I get it out?

put a pickle fork underneath the ball section of the ball joint on your lca:
get a gear puller to pull the top section of the joint off your hub.

Try heating that guy up with a blow torch and then use acetone (with gloves) and then try giving it a good whack. That didn't work for me so I had to resort to sawzall haha good luck these guys always give me lip.

In the FAQ section it covers how todo this with a 1/2 drive ratchet.
