Default JRSC for Prelude SH

Hi guy`s I am from germany and i Am driving a Prelude SH and thinking about to add a Supercharger from Jackson Racing to my H22a4 Engine. But I am affraid that it will Harm the Engine in long Term run. the Engine milage is now round about 52000 miles and I am affraid to blow the engine after installation of the Supercharger. so is there any body out there with long term experience with a Supercharger? Does the Supercharger effects engines life? Oscar says No but can i Trust? Because there is a small difference in Speed limits. I think its max 75miles in the US and no limit in germany and I will push the Speedometer often above 140 miles on the Autobahn. So every help is welcome.

Thank you in advance

You can run the supercharger on stock internals. All about the fuel management or proper tuning. You cant run a HONDATA so I would suggest a piggyback system like a greddy e manage. I chose this route for my engine management cuz i cannot run stand alone due to my car is an automatic.

ÄÄÄHHHHMMMMM piggyback???????? Sorry never heard about, do you mean that I can`t use the stock motormanagement and have to use an other one?
What I know about the supercharger tuning is that I have to use Stronger fuel pump. Cold air intake, 4-2-1 Header and an other exhaust. currently I use a Fujitsubo system.

Sorry but there is not that much experience about Tuning Parts for Prelude SH in Germany The reason is that we have only round about 1000 cars of the 5 Th generation here on the streets. So thats the reason that there is no market for tuning Parts an Information about tuning. Most things I have to buy in other Countrys for my car. So I try to collect Infos to find out whats the best way to supercharge the car and drive it a lot of miles with it.
How does your Supercharger work and how many miles did you drove it till o day?

for you to use a good engine management system, you'll have to lose your atts. but atts sucks compared to a lsd anyways. stock internals will work for the stock boost at 6psi, but you'll need to get on the dyno and tune your engine well - upgrade the injectors, ignition, get a larger fuel pump.. etc etc. good luck to your autobahn ways
