Injector tick?

Re: Injector tick?
So I was able to adjust the vales today. Took way longer due to weather (had to close it up when it started to rain), but finally got it done. Found the intake specs were loose and the exhaust tight. Got them all in spec, or close to it since it was my first time. Installed new valve cover gasket, tube seals, and grommets. Start it up and the ticking is still there. It sounds like its coming from the intake manifold, but I was gonna do plugs and wires next since I think they're original, and its cheap enough. Are the intakes known to have problems?
It's definitely coming from the top of the engine, and isn't any sort of bearing noise. Just sounds like something is loose and rattling around.
And I found out that my smoke is from bad valve seals, so I'll be getting those changed overt the summer

Re: Injector tick?
After doing some research, I found that H series engines have a plate under the intake with 4 individual butterfly valves. I know on FWD VQ35’s, the VIAS butterfly valve screws would come loose and begin to rattle. Maybe it’s a similar situation in this case, one of screws is loose allowing the plate to rattle slightly or something like that
