Default How to make 200whp?

if any of you remember my thread about 250whp i have decided to stick with ludes because i can't acutally come to sell the car. plus i researched throughly into rx7s and a single miss fire can expletive you over. i talked to lots of people who owned them and suggested that i dont buy one until i finish university. So my new goal is to simply reach 200whp and i do need your guys and girls help. Please help me reach this easily attainable goal. I need specific parts and i would like some people who have reached that goal to please tell me what you have on your rides. thanks

I happened to grab the April '06 Honda Tuning from my collection last night before I went to bed and read up on their project H22 Civic. They started with 174whp. Then they....

Crower Stage 3 cams
Crower dual valvesprings and retainers
Mahle Gold-Series 11.5:1 pistons
RC 470cc injectors
RMF 4-1 header

210whp (open header & throttle body)

I know you can make 200whp with less agressive cams than those though. But then again, those are badass cams. They suspected the next thing keeping them from making more power was the stock intake manifold.

an open throttle body was not a good choice, an intake system would have shown gains....

210 is pretty low for those mods.....what kinda dyno was that on?

they just called it "the dyno." I thought it was a pretty good gain. Stock intake manifold, stock valves, no p&p.

skunked made 210whp with those cams, an obx header w/2.5 collector, and stock compression

Guaranteed 200whp (on an H22 in good shape):

Good intake
RMF header
2.5" Magnaflow/Random Tech cat
2.5" exhaust
Stage 2 cams/upgraded springs and retainers
Port and polish (optional, but recommended)
Hondata s200 (or at very least a VAFC)

Dont forget about the doo doo Precision just told us about a few days ago. Those Mahl pistons need special attention when being put into FRM, so make sure your machinist knows wtf hes doin b4 u let him/her hone ur FRM sleeves.

And yes I think you can make 200whp without cams as well. ^^ stink face (mgags7) already put down close to that, b4 the last few goodies went on.

HP is irrelevant and too generalized IMO to say X parts will give you X power. Take my car for example. 173whp and 139ftlbs. And i definitely run faster than the usual 173whp.
