JUN makes one, and so does Top Fuel...those are the only ones that I know of. I hear the Top Fuel kit just uses a micropolished and balanced H23 crank, but I may be wrong about this. I don't know much about the JUN kit, but my guess is that it is expensive as hell.

Could someone elaborate on the f22 crank. Unless my sources are wrong, doesn't the h23s crank have a stroke of 97.24mm?

I dont know if they are in production but if you called Eagle Engine Specialtys in So Cal they could probaly make one? I may call them to see if they could make a set of rods for this setup.

The Only downfall is the cost to get all the parts, because you can get a H22a W/ ecu
for about $1500 shipped. If you get lucky like some other and find a blown engine or something for like $500 then its worth it money wise.

I already have an extra h23 block, i figured i would buy the h22 engine,
slap on the h23 block (with h22 crank hopefully) and sell the h22 block
minus the crankshaft. So eagle makes rods, is this the same company as
golden eagle. Say i get it bored out to 87mm, can i use type s pistons
or am i better off going with je oe weisco or something.

Crower can make you a custom billet crank for around $2300.
Eagle (not Golden eagle) is working on making forged cranks. They already have them out for b series.

You don't bore out to that displacement. Displacement is a factor of stroke and bore. I would suggest only boring to 89mm max, if you want some reliability. You can go bigger, but head gasket sealing becomes a major factor aroun 90mm bore.

A piston and rod combo will be based on your intent with the engine. For example, in a NA application, Stock rods are good to 300 HP (crank). You can up grade them for insurance purposes, but not totally needed for the budget minded racer. Honda makes very nice rods. If yo plan to go FI, I would upgrade the rods to something like the Crower Pro-billet. this might be overkill to some, but I run the Pro-billets in my NA set-up.

I was told, at least on an h23 that the rods can only handle about 215hp.
is this true or were you referring to h22 rods.
thanks for the help 2point6

Sorry, the rods I was talking about are the h22 rods in my previous statement, but I have seen stock H23 rods handle much more than 215 HP easily.

Anyone know the specs of the 2002 Accord coupe engine? F23/Vtec? What's the bore and stroke of that motor?

well you can start by getting another ecu because the p14 does not support VTEC. your options are p13(original h22 ecu), p28(does not support knock sensor or secondary butterflies), and p72(i believe from a gsr)

Yes, the JDM engine swaps can be ordered with LSD as an option. This is a considerable step over the "Phantom grip" which is not an LSD. Best bang for the buck is ordering a LSD from the supplier when you purchase your engine combo. Usually the price only changes about $300 more when getting an LSD.
