Default Where does this hose plug into? Picture

jdm h22a in a 1992 prelude

This hose ends here, and it goes under the intake mani. I cant find a spot to where it plugs into.

Help? Thanks

hmm kind of hard to see what that is the question is what the other end connected to ?? might be a possible canister hose ? or perhaps vacuum line that go's on the bottom of the intake mani . but see whats the other end connected to .

I'm going to check it when I have it on a lift. It's impossible for me to follow the hose without it on a lift. It's not affecting the car in any way.

you have a/c ? it might be the hose for the a/c condensation to drain out .. just a thought from what i see .

It is probably from your iab box under the intake manifold. Jack the car up and look from the underside

Its a vacuum line. Not a a/c line. And it most likely is for your iab's. Jack it up.
Get under it. Plug it back in. If the nipple it goes on is broken off. Goto a junk
Yard Jack it up and take the "black box" and replace the one on your vehicle.

Think bigger buddy

Does it have the number on it somewhere? You'll notice all the stock vacuum hoses have numbers...

Ill check for a number tomorrow.

Would this affect an emission/smog test?

Just re-route it into your intake manifold

it's hose #13 in the first diagram posted, which is the same thing as hose #34 in the second diagram posted.

update. it goes from my vacuum box under the im and plugs into the diaphragm. The diaphragm was plugged into the intake mani. so now hose number 12 in the 1st diagram has nowhere to go. and no, it doesnt have a place to plug into, like in the diagram.

weird. but now i have the right hose in the right spot. just one hose is plugged with a screw now to keep the vacuum system all good.

Sounds like maybe the vacuum box wasn't working, so someone had the iab plate just running directly from engine vacuum.

this was how it was when i 1st posted this thread

the red line was plugged into like that. and the blue line was not going anywhere

this is it now

number 13 line is in its correct spot. but number 12 still has nowhere to plug into. so i plugged it with a wood screw.

12 goes from the back of the IM through the check valve to the vacuum box...13 goes from the diaphragm to the top port of the by-pass solenoid valve ...another hose for 12 goes from the vacuum box to the bottom port of the by-pass solenoid valve

in the first diagram they were completely bypassing the bypass valve and having the secondaries open all the time

in the second diagram you aren't using the cruise control vacuum hose so I assume you don't have cruise control
