maybe you lose few tq with A4 block but if its cheaper for you to use A4 block than H23V go for it

A4 and H23V heads are about the same.
Please varify when youre talking about head and when about block.
With H23V block youll get little bit more of tq vs A4 block - thats the only difference between those engines. But at the end it doenst really matter - which one would be cheaper would be better in this case IMO
99-01 A4 heads are little bit better than older
