Default h22 q's

i have an h22 can the crank out of a f- series work in the h22 block, if so do i re-use the h22 rods and pistons on f-series crank or do i use f-series crank, rods and pistons.By the way this is a 94 h22, or should i try to find a h22 crank. I'ts just that i have an f22a1 sitting in storage should i just use the f22 block or use f22 internals in h22, please help

i might not ahve the numbers right, but i think that crank is a 97 mm crank, which is the same as the h23, u would probably be best off using h23 rods and h22 pistons...correc tme if i'm wrong,

yeah you are right about the rods and crank.
need to use the f22 rods with the f22 crnak making the h22 into 2.3 liter engine.

yeap... but what about the rpm range?? I don't think you can rev the f22 crank safe as high as the h22 one...

the h22 pistons are bigger than the f22's thats how youre gettin to 2.3

f22 crank + f22 rods + h22 pistons = h23 vtec =

and yeah the pistons fit fine.
