check for resistance should be atleast 13k ohms...the other will have like .09 ohms..remember to touch the leads together and subtract that from what you get on the smaller ohms side..normally it's .01 ohms to subtract

when my ignitor went out it had white film on the inside of the distributor cap

Got it running just got fix Idle ...its revs way up n way down im thinking iacv???
