h22 cam gears. Need a little help..
 

Hi guys

Ok I pulled the engine a month ago because I had a sleeve that sunk and eventually a dead head gasket..

Now I got the engine back together and about to install it in the car again.
I noticed something while I was putting stuff back on the engine.

The cam gear position. I have the skunk2 cam gears
Heres a picture of how its installed now, crank is at TDC there

U see the marks is way off compared to the first picture, but we are not sure if this picture is taken only for show and corrected afterwards. If you understand me.

What do you guys think? Is the first picture the correct way to do it?

Ok we figured it out that he made a mistake and gonna fix it tomorrow..
