Guys/Gals has this ever happened to you while shifting gears in your manual prelude...?
While I was driving in 2nd gear I went up to about 40mph and while shifting into 3rd I released the clutch very quickly that I stepped on the gas while for a millisecond in neutral. I saw my tach reach about 6000rpm's (in neutral) and I said to myself, "oh snap, what did i just do!" THEN I waited a bit to settle back down to about 5500 rpms THEN I shifted into 3rd gear. Will this hurt the clutch or transmission any? Basically what I did is comparable to reving to about 6000 rpm's while in neutral with the parking break on (no gas applied of course) infront of my driveway RIGHT??
