getting emissions today and brake lamp light won't go off..
Hey all!
I've had my 95 prelude for a bit over 4 months now and the brake lamp light has always been on. There was never a problem with the brake lights so i never worried about it. BUT I'm getting emissions done today and need that light to go off for a few hours
. I replaced the bulbs last night thinking maybe one of them was weak, and that didn't do the trick. Is there a fuse in the car that is for the 'less important' dash lights? Like one that won't affect the door or e-brake lights? I assume to the emissions people, those not coming on is as important as the brake lamp light not going off

the fluid level shouldn't make the brake lamp light come on. Just the regular brake light would come on for that.

That's ok. It passed even with that light on. In MD they apparently only do a dash inspection on years '96 and above. I lucked out by 1 year
