Gas tank drain plug leaking?
So I noticed recently when my car sits for more than a day or two I smell gas when I open the garage door. I looked this morning on my way to work (after 4 days of not driving) and there was a small spot, about the size of the top of a beer can about a foot in from the drivers side rear tire. not a puddle or anything, just a bit wet.
I took a quick look under the car and it looked like it might be coming from the drain plug on the tank.
I'm gonna get it off the ground tomorrow or thursday and take a good look, but i was wondering if anyone had ever run into something similar before?
I've never had that plug out since I owned the car so I don't know why it would start leaking out of nowhere.
anything else I should look at? maybe something that might have rusted just enough to leak a bit?

Re: Gas tank drain plug leaking?
it is gas right?
could be leaking from somewhere on the tank and running down and falling off at the drain plug. look for any damage dont to the fuel tank
