Default Fouled another set of plugs...need advice

ok so if u dont remember about 2 weeks ago i posted that i found out why my car wudnt start. would crank but no fire. it was the plugs, replaced them ran fine then the ignitor went out, replaced that ran fine, now its back to doing the same thing as b4 with the plugs. pulled one same thing as last time. fouled a 2nd set in a week.....bought another set of plugs gunna replace after work, but does any one know why im eating plugs by the week?

Called the ngk rep told me to gap the plugs to .040 and try that, also was told this is signs of the egr system the ports on the intake? possibly i got a bad o2 sensor? all are some my ideas. any input will greatly be appreciated.

looks like a lot of carbon buildup to me. check your fuel lines, filter, rail, and injectors. maybe you could try to add fuel cleaner additive to your fuel tank.

How old is your current O2 sensor? Wouldn't hurt to take a look at it...

Also how old is the cat? No CELs?

Hmmm...cam and ignition timing is good? Wouldn't hurt to get an AF gauge...

Seems silly, but is your air filter clean. I haven't really heard of a problem like this so I'm sorta just throwing things out.

Here is a site on reading plugs:
http://www.dansmc.com/Spark_Pl....html

I'm guessing you have already looked at something like that.

When reading two-stoke plugs(the only experience I have) you will replace the plug, and then drive in the range in question(1/4 throttle, or 1/2 ect) for a few miles, then kill the engine and coast to a stop. Pull the plug and look at it. That seems alittle extreme in your case as there shouldn't be a problem with the mixture. It almost has to be something(sensor) that controls the mixture. I don't really know enough about these cars, but I'm interested to find out what's up.
Good luck.

If your O2 checked out good, check for vacuum leak that could cause the ecm commanding a rich condition. Or there could be other possibilities

After actually looking at the link I posted it really could be oil.

Do a plug chop before they actually stop firing so you know if they are wet then its oil, and not fuel.

It could be a pinched return fuel line or a bad FPR check your fuel pressure

Also if there is a leak in the exhaust manifold before the o2 sensor that could also cause the ecu to run a rich mixture.
