Re: F20B, H23a, or H22a
Inlinepro also makes FRM compatible pistons, though they only show the S2000 I read on their site once that upon request H22 pistons can be made.
Have to agree though about the F20b, it would be neat at times to have a high revving engine but the lack of low end power in a Prelude isn't worth it.

So power to weight ratio is not a factor here. He is just trying to decide whats the best bang for his swap dollars.

Im going to agree with this dude! from having both, i would recommend the f20b. you wont notice the small torque difference from the h22 and as long as its the manual f20b version the hp numbers are the same as well. not trying to down talk the h22 but if you plan on boostings, 7-8 lbs is risky business because of the FRM.

I weighed out the differences for my current project, and decided on the H23a, but then again, I'm not going for boost. Had a '92 Prelude with a non-vtec H23, and enjoyed the torque. My currently dead '96 with a black-top H22a turned me onto the joys of vtec. I figured why not get the best of both worlds!
