f20b with h22 head * what head gasket to use*
im currently in the proces of buying a fully built h22 head to match with my stock euro f20b block.
i've search and it seems like the f20b head gasket will work with the h22 head. Is that correct?
also the f22a1 headgasket is also indentical to the f20b head gasket. so i could use he f22a1 head gasket instead. Is this also correct ?
also should i replace the f20b intake valves with h22 intake valve with this head? f20b intake valves is 1mm smaller.
any information will help thankss..

f20b valves are smaller for a reason mate, the larger valves would be shrouded by the cylinder wall, thus limiting air flow from one side of the valve

but then you'd end up with a gap of 1mm all the way around top of bore, 87mm gasket 85mm bore, could cause a hot spot and cause detonation?
would the f20b gasket not be better?

I have both motors and the F20B bluetop gasket is the exact same as the H22a4 blacktop, only difference we found was the valves being smaller on the F20B and the combustion chamber being "deeper" unlike the H22a4 which was "shallow"..
