euro-r vs type-s ECU
I have a 98 prelude with a h22a euro-r engine with LSD trans. I am looking to buy an obd2 ecu whether it be the euro-r ecu which is the PCD, and or the type-s p5p computer. I do have my concerns about both though.
The euro-r ecu I have heard will make two check engine light codes thrown; one being for having converted to Rosko's racing two wire IACV adapter plate instead of the 3 wire IACV, and second I don't have electronic power-steering like the accord-R has. So how would I run this computer in my prelude, and would it run the engine properly? And yes I know to buy a conversion or step down harness for the ecu since it is obd2b.
I did say I would look into buying a type-s computer reason being is my thoughts are I would just use the ECU itself not the ATTS controller that comes with it. Also this ecu reads for having a two wire IACV so that is a plus. Also the ecu is obd2a so it is direct plug-n-play for my car. I am just wondering will this ecu run my car without any check engine lights or is that not going to happen? I was reading up, the type-s and euro-r are almost identical except for the intake manifolds and the heads having their differences and non matching head stamp codes. I am wondering which way to go here and what would make the most sense to purchase computer wise. Please help if you can. Thanks guys.

Re: euro-r vs type-s ECU
Is there anyone on this forum that can help me with my concerns about buying the PCD euro-r ecu? I am just wondering how you clear the codes for good and make the ecu work in a prelude.
