ECU Reset Radio Question
If I reset my ECU by disconnecting the negative battery terminal will it lock my radio? If so, I dont have the code and I was wondering if there's a master code.

yes, disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery will lock the radio. to unlock the radio, a 5 digit code must be entered. if you remove the radio from the car, you should find a sticker somewhere on it with a bar code and serial number, like those found on grocery store items. call up a honda dealership and give them the serial number from the radio and they should be able to tell you the 5 digit number. if they say anything about bringing it in to the dealership and some kind of service fee tell me the serial number and i can get you the code for free (i know a guy at a honda dealership). they tried screwing me by charging me $10 to have it checked "professionally", so i had my friend get it for me for free!

this post talks about removing the radio, and there is a link inside that shows how to remove the plastic piece around the radio from a honda service manual .
