blocked oil passage? have questions, need answers
okay, im pretty sure i have a blocked oil passage somewehre, it seems like its after the oil goes to my head and everything, somewhere on the return back to the oil pan. or at least it goes through oil filter and i THINK it gets to my head too. Anyways, does anyone know where it would most likely be blocked, and the easiest way to find out? Thanks

What makes you think you have a blocked oil passage? Did you try connecting an oil pressure gauge into the orifice where the oil pressure switch goes and reading the oil pressure?

IF you have the head off, than it'll probably be easier to see it, but if not than probably a blown head. Check your engine coolant, see if you have like a milky residue on your radiator. Or after you drive you car for a while, check your reservoir tank, and if you see bubbles in there than it's a blown head.

Seems like this is a common thing on rebuilds of any engine. The result I usually hear about involves using too much RTV/silicone/whatever type of sealant putting it back together. Some of the sealant comes off inside the engine and blocks oil passages, clogs the pump, etc...
Who knows were that stuff ends up. Not sure if that's your problem though.
