Build h22, rosko euro R/68mm TB engine stalls
Hey guys
So im kinda facing a problem atm :/
Had the tuner come to me last night to start up engine for the first time after a rebuild, with dartons cp pistons all those goodies. And rosko euro r intake + professional products 68mm TB.
I had engine oil primed and key cycled the fuel pump, engine fired right up.
Rough tuned it with the s300 from his laptop. On castrol breakin oil.
I had to swap over a b16 map sensor to fit on the TB because its from an obd2 car.
But engine stalls when RPM goes down to 1000-1200ish. then it like it wont get back up in RPM. Its really hesitating alot. Around 1500-1600 RPM the AFR says ~14.7 and runs perfect, but when it gets below 1200ish afr goes down to ~11 and engine stalls..
I figured out today I had connected the purge valve wrong.
Ended up with following this vacuum diaghram from my manual
And everything is now spot on
Heres some of the tubes
Prolly hard to see, but acording to the vacuum diaghram it should be absolutely right.
I also took a video.

I constantly have to have my foot on the pedal, else it will die, but you get the idea..
Will things be okay when I hit the dyno? Or is it something I should check up on? (which im doing atm)
Thing is my dyno apointment is on tuesday.. So not much time to run on before dyno. Tuner is going on vacation for 3 weeks, so I would prefere to have it tuned before that :-) Else I'll have to wait.
Do you have any suggestions? fuel is 99octane shell Vpower.
Should also say that nothing happend when turning the idle screw
and around 4 sec into the video its about to die for me.. Have to push the pedal a little and then wait a few seconds for the rpm to rise :s
I relly hope someone can help me out with this :/ its anoying me alot right now.
Thanks guys,
Have a nice weekend!

Check what your tps is reading in the s300, you may need to calibrate it. If your calibration isn't right you may be reading negative values.

Hi, I think we did that. He told me to leve the pedal and he typed in 0.48. And then I had to push it all the way to the floor

Yea did today, we tweaked the idle a bit today. To start with we couldnt get enough vacuum at low rpm, it was way off.. But after som ajusting and stuff we had the vacuum pressure good or as it should be. So I think we are set on tuesday for dyno! :-)
Should make some Decent power atleast, with the cams and the headwork done to it
