Default better mpg

I have a 92 h23 prelude, has anyone tried to lower the fuel pressure to get better mpg out of their car, maybe lowering the fuel pressure with an aftermarket adjustable regulator, down to 25-30 psi, from the std level of 36 psi, I know performance would suffer a little, but I would like to keep my lude, but might just go to a civic to get a little more mpg. right now I am getting 23 mpg with the a/c on and 26 mpg otherwise. Thanks

Try synthetic oil first (if you don't use it already) Preferably Mobil 1, AMSOIL or some other well-regarded brand

My 94 Vtec is rated to get 22 City and 26 hwy if I recall....and I get 25-27mpg OVERALL (mostly highway, some A/C...and maybe a bit less in the winter).

That may help some.

try coasting to stop lights from a greater distance. start from a stop with less acceleration. and shift soon but not under powered. dont let your rpms go over 3k most.

dude there really is no point to get better gas mileage than what you are getting. if u want better gas mileage trade your Lude in for an Insight.
