Best place to jack car up
I'm sure this is an easy question but I just want to make sure. Other than the front or back mount points, are these the only other points to use?
I thought there were other secure places to mount a jack or jack stands under the car somewhere but the service manual doesn't specify.
Basically I'm having issues jacking the car up because my jack sucks and wont jack the car up high enough to fit the jack stands under the side mounts. Can you all also please suggest a good shop jack. Mine sucks and leaks fluid and I know it's going to kill me one day

Re: Best place to jack car up (bb_one)
Thanks for the info guys
Right now the only thing that will help are the blocks under the wheels because my jack is **** and is too high so it doesn't fit under the tow hooks.
Any other suggestions on some good jacks?

I use the center cross-member. There's a ridge built-in to jack there. I think they actually specify that point in the helms.

Hrm, weird. I wonder why the service manual doesn't show that? Thanks I will try that out.
