B20A6 Piston ring groove width.
I thought all B20A enines were fundamentally the same. I'm rebuilding a B20A6 and ordered new NPR rings from the states. The rings and the grooves are the same width within a few microns. The pistons are marked PK2 stamped B top groove is 1.2 2nd groove is 1.5 which is the thickness of the rings. Naturally no clearance allows no gas pressure behind the rings to push them out against the bore, so it smokes likes crazy. Are the B20A5 pistons different?
