alternator connection pops off..also right headlight dimmed.

alright so the other day my gauges started freaking out going to max then min then again till it just went to 0rpms and 0mph, i pulled over and noticed the connector to the alternator was off. Reconnected it and everything is fine till last night when i was driving and i noticed everything dim and so i checked and same thing happened and when i put it back on i saw that my left headlight was out. so i switched the fuses for my left and right headlights and the problem switched but when i checked the fuses both look fine and i put the fuses back to the way they were and the right headlight still doesnt work brightly like it should. also the high beams only works on the left as well and the high beam indicator is dimly lit when it isnt on.

Re: alternator connection pops off..also right headlight dimmed. (otsegolectric)
ur alternator connector (either the male or female end) has a part of the connector broken (either the tab on the alternator or the latch on the harness). as far as the weird headlight situation, check ur ground box (small white box next to the headlight with quite a bit of black wires going into it). unbolt it off, and make sure the area where it touches the body is sanded down. if none of that works, check the bulb/connector, might be blown or have shorted out. Just dealt with that stuff a few months back, all of it lmao. hope that helps.
