Read back a few pages.....Roger/md23vtec refers to having driven a mid 12 N/A Prelude that he thought was capable of an 11.99999999999 on the right day with everything perfect.
A mid12 Prelude nonetheless.

Not sure. I'd ask Roger. If its anything like his car, its damn near full weight...

Weight of the car Is still Unknown. I would guestimate in the 2450 range give or take. It's done right really clean engine bay. We did ABS delete, Vis CF hood, Seibon CF trunk, CF Sunroof plug, No A/C, No PS, Extra wiring, Blah blah blah , ESP traction bar/Motormounts, bogart 13's and 15 inch skinnies for the track. Car does have heat, radio, power windows, full interrior, stock seats blah blah.

Looks like any other prelude you would see going down the road when it has 18's on it. He lives 3 miles from work the car is driven often but not his DD. Seems everytime I talk to him or run into him he is driving it.

my lude is at 2380lbs w/o me and i still need to plug the sunroof and add lexan rear windows and racing seats

How gutted out is it? Heat? Interior?
iirc Chris F is 2300 w/o driver, has a cage, sunroof plug, and lexan rears.
Cage obviously adds weight, and I think he may have a metal hood. There are weight minimums he has to follow though.

wait so with the abs delete you can put on 13's. i thought cause of the rotor and u need 15's?

My guess is an "S" caliper/rotor swap. Pretty sure you can squeeze 13s over them.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
I remember OAKS RACING use of Custom axles/hubs/brakes

That's totally believeable. We will NOT do lexan in this car it's not allowed in street car classes. When it's all said and done this car will be a big front runner in the Street/Stock class.



Abs delete has nothing to do with the rotor's or calipers. I have been running 13's on my turbo car before I did the abs delete and after. What I did to get the 13's to work ummm long story short alot of mixing and matching trial and error. I'll leave it at that. Also Oaks had a 5700 Rob Moore front end and there is no way in hell I was going to spend that type of money just to get 13's

it has door pannells and a dash
not much is behind the dash but it is a dash
also cf hood and trunk light rims

im rocking a new daily driver that is a blast
so this is giving me no excusses to just make the lude
a full drag car,,,,im going to rock the car for awhile on the 12.0.1 set-up
then go for more cam and compression

im going to try and keep the car cage less for now
