Default Actual opinions needed, Is this a fair price...?

I'd like to know if $4500 is a fair price for a 99 SH with a blown motor and 105k miles? The transmission is salvageable. Also, the body is pretty good.
Thanks for your opinion.

I would sell you my Prelude for that much, seriously. And it runs great and looks even better and has less miles. Most Preludes 97-newer go for about 4,500-$5,000 with 100k+ miles that still run good.

I paid that much for mine and it DOES run GREAT, it is super clean, and has kandy cobalt blue paintjob, Tokico suspension, AEM Pulleys, Full 3 Piece DC Sports Strut Bars, Intake, Exhaust, etc; 72,000 on new engine (actually documented) (just put the new engine in less than a week ago too).
It is a beautiful Prelude and the rest of the car only has about 130k miles. It has NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, and I will seriously sell it for that price anyday, just because I know that is REALLY what one's worth.. with an engine that RUNS perfectly and has 79k on it and it is super clean. I'm not actively trying to sell it asap, but if you or someone else offered that, I would take it, seriously. That price is what a newer Prelude of is worth that is kept clean and running good. No Joke

I suggest to look at places like ebay or here at honda-tech before buying one that you have to put a BUNCH of work into just to drive it. Plus, finding an SH engine to go back in that body or rebuilding it back up just to stock condition would be EVEN MORE expensive and time consuming and troublesome than it's even worth.
Check out ebay, or hit me up if you're interested in mine and I'll send you some pics or check around a bit on ebay or here at honda-tech. Either way is a good idea before jumping into a project car and paying the full price of a clean, good running car.
