well the aem didnt work out. Things went down and then went to ****. Filed a paypal dispute and got my money back
anyway. Ordered the headgasket and so that should be here in the next couple weeks (thanks nat).
Also, a bunch of maintenance work has come for the lude. The rear rotors are warped and making some noise so the friction (i can actually feel it in the pedal) is hurting me. My axles started making noise. I sent a spec sheet to gator axles and got a call from them the very next day! talk about some customer service. I really like the way these guys work. They have been in business for 19 years and they only do things their way! I love it.
They have a tech sheet you have to fill out with all the information about your car and they will not build an axle for you unless you have a sheet filled out. They build all axles to order so you know things are pretty well there.
More coming in the future when i get this stuff in.

small update
gator axles came in today. They are incredibly nice and well constructed. I'm sending my old axles back to glen to have him inspect them. He told me if they were "decent" he would rebuild them for me for a small fee so i have a spare set. Natalie sent me the headgasket a few days ago so it should be showing up shortly. Got my rear rotors on today as well during a break in the rain, ****ing florida. Also went up to work and my tires came in so i put them on and road out. I have to buy the right socket for the axles so i wont be doing them until next week when i drop the steering rack.
cheers

i am GATOR for Life!...Their Customer Svc is Top Notch!!!
Did you get the Dried GATOR Foot with your axles? I did.....scared the crap out of my builder when it fell out of the box. Its the current mascot of my car.
So when are we going to see a HEAD on this setup?

damn near perfect burns on all 4 pistons and after 12,000+ miles, hardly any wear on the cylinders
CCcylinderheads
Clean internals? I do believe so (no cleaning was involved with this picture)
Good oil ftw

head is ****ed up. Back to square one.
1) was sent 2 #2 cam caps so who knows where the caps really came from and which ones are actually for this head
2) cams hard as **** to turn, even worse with caps that i know are good from my stock head
3) top of head is warped
head is trash. Waste of ****ing 600 dollars.

This is just ridiculous. I found out some information about "dagle" that doesnt exactly make me happy and he is the person i got the head from. Chaps my *** that my machinist didnt inspect this stuff or even notice that i had two number 2 cam caps, but i guess he was more involved with the actual labor work.
anyway. I'm closing my thread. I have no interest in this point in time.
Dagle, if you dont contact me, i have my ways of finding out where you live and a way to contact you. I just want information on where this head came from and why you sent me what you did and allowed me to dump all this money into it.
