what was your 60 foot ? I remember you suggesting to me to run 22s with my setup and a bunch of ppl were saying I would spin.

Also at what rpm and gear did you trap with 22s ?

ok here is the newly proposed clutch line setup:

-4AN clutch line -> male -4an to male 1/8NPT adapter -> Wilwood Residual Valve -> male 1/8NPT to -4AN 90* female -> male -4AN to METRIC 10mmx1.00

for anyone that needs to know, our master cylinders have a 10mmx1.00 fitting.

with the wilwood valve, you have to get a 90* adapter coming off the master cylinder because there isn't much room in that area and the threads on the valve are NPT and not AN so you have to have an adapter with a female AN (whatever size your AN clutch line is) to a male 1/8NPT. Both sides of the valve are female 1/8NPT.

I'll report back and hope this fixes the shifting issue.

i just ordered the last piece of it today (the 90* adapter) so hopefully i'll have it at my house when i get home from break.

whats the issue you're running into with the hard clutch lines? is it uneven or is it that you want your clutch to engage/disengage faster?

on every single MC job i've done on my hondas, i've managed to strip that damn 10mm fitting.. using a 12pt or 6pt wrench

i dont run hard lines. Mine is a -4AN line from the master cylinder to the slave.

just got the new clutch line setup installed and it appears to be pretty nice. I'm finally able to "******" the shifter but the only way to test it is at the track. I think there is another test and tune coming up in a couple weeks that i may tend to so i'll keep you updated.

well i dont know if i will be able to make it to the next tnt. I was checking my oil today (still very clean after 1000 miles I might add ) and noticed some carbon on the #2 runner which had been repaired previously. Its starting to crack again and also the #4 runner is beginning to show some hairline surface cracks as well. I've been pretty busy lately but im really really hoping to have a couple surprises coming for you guys in the next couple months.

I was really hoping to be able to run in some events coming up this month but it doesnt look like the header would survive even a couple more launches.

You should use a DC header, or any other header and see how much power you actually lose.

Check your PM's.

well i fell onto a great deal guys. It wont be something that i use anytime soon, but i will be taking it off a car which I am returning to stock and doing some maintenance work and then rebuilding this piece of awesomeness I am getting in return. I'm getting this in payment of doing the work which is pretty freaking sweet. I come back to retune a customer car next weekend and thats when I will be working on this other car as well. Maybe i will have some teasers, as long as everything goes well, of it after i get home that weekend.

the other update is that my head will be paid off this week so i should have it in my hands in 2 weeks.
